Recipe (Video): Energy Bites


Last summer I was scavenging the internet for healthy, easy recipes that would help me stay bikini body ready, but were still super easy to make. That's when I discovered the recipe for what are now one of my favorite snacks -- Energy Bites. These delicious little bites are super easy to make because they require absolutely no baking, and they are packed full of nutrients including omega-3s, protein, fiber, magnesium, and much MUCH more. Ingredients:

1 cup of dry old-fashioned oats

2/3 cup of toasted coconut

1/2 cup of peanut butter

1/2 cup of flax seeds

1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips

1/3 cup of honey (or agave nectar)

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Tools:

Large Mixing Bowl

Baking Sheet

Waxpaper

Mixing Spoon (Optional)

Scooping Spoon (Optional)
